The batting failure of the Indian team in the match which was part of the crucial battle in international cricket left a deep disappointment. The first day's play ended in a completely one-sided affair as the experienced batting line-up failed to settle at the crease. Even the sports experts did not expect the Kiwis bowlers to flourish and the Indian team got their hands on less runs. This initial failure has now become a hot topic in cricket circles.
Right from the first session of the match, the opposing bowlers put pressure on the Indian batsmen with their sharp attack. The Kiwis pacers used the unpredictable bounce and swing on the pitch effectively. The score board slowed down as the star batters who tried to get into the crease also queued up to the pavilion. Attempts to support the team failed as they lost crucial wickets. The Indian taparder completely collapsed due to the bowlers throwing claws. The Indian team will have to work hard to recover from this unexpected defeat.
Today's game proved once again how important it is to correct technical errors when playing on foreign soil or on challenging pitches. The outcome of the match will depend on how the bowlers bounce back and what strategies the batsmen come up with in the coming days. Although the opposition team is dominating the match now, there is a lot of excitement on what kind of comeback India will give in the remaining days.
