Suryaa Entertainment Desk: The mythological film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, has faced piracy issues following its theatrical release. Online prints of the film appeared on various websites and social media platforms shortly after its debut.
In response, the film's production company initiated legal action. The Bombay High Court has issued an order requiring the immediate removal of illegally circulated piracy links and recordings. The court directed that digital platforms and internet service providers (ISPs) must block such links within three hours of receiving notice of piracy.
The producers issued a warning stating that those who illegally upload or share footage or prints of the film, which was made on a budget of approximately four thousand crores, will face criminal action. The film team expressed concern that these online leaks could impact box office collections.
Under the dynamic injunction order issued by the Bombay High Court, the makers are monitoring websites and anonymous individuals distributing pirated content. They stated that accounts on social media platforms promoting the film's prints will be permanently suspended, and legal action will be taken against the offenders. The production team has requested that audiences watch the film in theaters to avoid supporting piracy.
