Under the leadership of mandal president Edapalli Parashuram, the petition was handed over to the tehsildar.
Speaking on the occasion, Parashuram said that ignoring Boinapalli mandal is unfair to the farmers. He demanded that the government should take into account the shortage of irrigation water and the difficulties in cultivation of crops. Local MLA Medipalli Satyam wants to immediately respond and pressurize the government to declare Boinapally as a drought mandal.
He warned that if the government does not respond, there will be more violent agitations. BJP district committee members Udari Narasimha Chari, Stambhampelli Sarpanch Bongani Ashok Goud, former mandal president Gudi Ravinder Reddy, mandal general secretary Rajendra Prasad, mandal vice-presidents Kandarapu were present at the event. Venkatesh, SC Morcha Mandal President Sunkapaka Prabhu, senior leaders Swami Kumar, Minukula Srinivas, Mahesh, Venkatesh, Tirupati, Doosa Srikanth, Anil, Naresh, leaders and activists participated.
