SuryaaNow Telangana Desk: Surya.. Boinapally mandal is immediately declared as a drought mandal and the BRS party demands to support the farmers whose crops have been lost due to lack of rain. Surya..Boinapalli Mandal was immediately declared as a drought zone and a petition was handed over to the local Tahsildar under the leadership of BRS Party Boinapally Mandal President Katterapaka Kondaiah demanding to support the farmers whose crops were lost due to lack of rain. He expressed regret that the Congress government has declared only some mandals as drought mandals and did not include Boinapally mandal, which is facing severe monsoon conditions, in the list. He said that due to insufficient rains for the crops cultivated by the farmers in many villages of Boinapalli mandal, the growth of crops has been damaged and the investments are also becoming unsustainable. He said that the farmers who are cultivating with loans for the cost of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and labor are now facing severe financial problems. He said that there is a need for the government to stand by the farmers in such situations.

In the declaration of drought mandals, he demanded that every mandal should be included after a comprehensive examination of rainfall, condition of crops, availability of irrigation water and crop losses at the field level without giving way to politics. Boinapally mandal should be immediately declared as drought mandal and compensation should be provided to the affected farmers as per the government regulations. He said that the local public representatives should take initiative in solving the problems faced by the farmers of Boinapally mandal in Choppadandi constituency. Even though the local MLA Medipalli Satyam continues to be the district president of the Congress Party, he advised the government to take the drought problems of the mandals in Choppadandi constituency into the attention of the government and take appropriate measures. He commented that the situation in which farmers are worried whether they should plant crops or not is a proof of the crisis facing the agricultural sector. The government should not neglect the farmers when they should be reassured. It is the government's responsibility to support the farmers who are facing drought conditions.

Boinapally mandal should be declared as a drought mandal and immediate justice should be given to the farmers who lost their crops.
