It was revealed that command control rooms have been set up at the district, division and mandal levels to monitor the storm conditions from time to time. After attending a video conference conducted by the Hon'ble Chief Minister on the impact of Cyclone Arnab on Tuesday, Collector Lakshmisha spoke to the officials of the coordination departments. He said that the control room is serving the number 91549 70454 in the district collectorate. Similarly, command control rooms have been set up in Vijayawada Division (7569008425), Tiruvuru Division (08673-251235) and Nandigama Division (7893053534).
It is suggested to create awareness about the command control room numbers established at the mandal level as well. He directed to keep a constant vigil on the situation of the storm and to assess the situation at the field level from time to time and take action. Actions have been taken at the field level to prevent any untoward incident due to the effect of rains and winds.
