Suryaa News Desk: Anaparthi MLA Nallamilli Ramakrishna Reddy conducted a field inspection on Friday to assess agricultural lands submerged due to heavy rains caused by the cyclone. The MLA visited four mandals within the Anaparthi constituency to examine the damaged crops.
During his visit, the MLA interacted with affected farmers to understand their concerns. He noted that the submergence of paddy fields, particularly those ready for harvest, has caused significant losses for the farmers who had already invested heavily in their crops.
Farmers informed the MLA that the heavy rains and stagnant floodwater have not only reduced potential yields but also threatened the quality of the grain.
The MLA assured the farmers that the government would stand by them. He emphasized the need for a comprehensive assessment of the crop damage to ensure that affected farmers receive appropriate support. He further stated that it is essential to conduct a transparent evaluation of the losses and implement necessary relief measures to assist the farmers impacted by the natural disaster.
