The mini-auction process for the fifth season of the Women's Premier League began in grand style at the Kochi venue in Kerala. Five franchises are gearing up to strengthen their squads for this prestigious tournament. Among the more than a hundred players participating in the auction, there is a big discussion in the sports circles that some famous star players are likely to fetch record prices.
Based on the needs of the teams and the experience of the players, the bidding process is expected to break records this time. The Women's Premier League mini-auction has focused all the franchises' attention mainly on Australia's star all-rounder Sophie Molyneux. Her specialty is left-arm spin bowling as well as her ability to score valuable runs in the lower order. There is likely to be a fierce competition between the teams to own this all-rounder who has a lot of experience in international cricket. Sri Lankan skipper Chamari Atapattu also topped the auction's highest bid list.
It is remarkable that she has the ability to score fast runs in the top order and do wonders with spin bowling. QUERY LENGTH LIMIT EXCEEDED. MAX ALLOWED QUERY : 500 CHARS Also Read: Mega Kodalu Upasana who visited Tirumala Srivara.. special pooja with grandfather
