Suryaa News Desk: A woman identified as 57-year-old Pakalapati Bullemmai from PRC Puram village has died while undergoing treatment following a road accident within the Anaparthi police station limits.
According to police, the incident occurred on the night of the 27th at approximately 7:30 p.m. while the victim was traveling with her husband on a Honda Activa to visit their daughter in Duppalapudi village. Near the Sarveswara poultry farm, the two-wheeler lost control, causing both individuals to fall onto the road.
The victim sustained severe internal head injuries and was initially treated at the Anaparthi Area Hospital. Due to her critical condition, she was transferred to the Kakinada Government Hospital for advanced medical care. On October 31, while being transported back to the Kakinada Government Hospital from the Anaparthi Area Hospital, she became unresponsive. Upon being brought back to the Anaparthi Area Hospital, medical staff declared her dead.
Following a complaint filed by the victim's son, Pakalapati Srinu, the Anaparthi police have registered a case. Additional Sub-Inspector B. Durgaprasad is conducting an investigation into the incident.
