Surya Business & Urban Development Desk, New Delhi: The new housing scheme 'Awas Nivesh Yojana 2026' launched by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to realize the dream of owning a home for the common man in the national capital has received huge response from home buyers. Under this scheme, DDA has made available 2,516 LIG flats in North Delhi's Narela Sector G2-G6 at a special concession of 25 per cent. Thousands of registrations on the first day: Thousands of applicants competed for registrations and bookings through DDA's official Awas portal (eservices.dda.org.in) as the official booking process for this scheme started on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rs. 14.95 lakh to Rs. 15.01 lakhs, ready-to-move-in one-bhk houses are available at affordable prices, with a booking amount of just Rs. 1 lakh only and the buyers showed great interest.
Aim to make Narela a growth center: DDA officials clarified that the main objective of the project is to rapidly develop the Narela sub-city into a residential area with modern infrastructure and comprehensive connectivity, while providing affordable housing compared to other parts of Delhi. Analysts believe that this special support coming from the middle class and wage earners has once again proved the public's trust in the government housing construction companies in the real estate sector of the capital.
