Suryaa Business Desk: Despite uncertainty in international crude oil prices, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Fuel Price Committee has announced a reduction in domestic fuel prices for November. Although global crude oil trends have shown an increase, the committee has lowered costs for petrol and diesel.
Under the revised rates, Super 98 petrol has been reduced from 4.40 dirhams to 4.16 dirhams per litre. Special 95 petrol has decreased from 4.28 dirhams to 4.04 dirhams, and E-Plus 91 petrol has dropped from 4.21 dirhams to 3.97 dirhams per litre. Additionally, the price of diesel has been reduced from 4.80 dirhams to 4.75 dirhams per litre. These new prices came into effect nationwide on November 1.
The UAE adjusts fuel prices monthly based on global market fluctuations. Official sources indicated that petrol prices have decreased by approximately 5.6 percent, while diesel prices have seen a reduction of over 1 percent. This adjustment is expected to provide financial relief to motorists.
