Ghatkesar, Major News: MP Etala Rajender and BJP leaders continued their 60 km walk for the second day with the main demand of moving the Jawaharnagar dump yard.
The four-day padayatra was launched by renowned environmentalist Purushottam Reddy and BC Welfare Association National President Jajula Srinivas Goud on Wednesday at Annojiguda. From there, the march went on to Ghatkesar. The aim of the march was to bring the problem of Jawaharnagar dump yard to the attention of the government and pressurize its relocation.
They will go to the public for four days and express their protest with the demand of moving the dump yard. Former MLA, BJP senior leader Bodiga Shobha, BC Welfare Association National President Jajula Srinivas Goud, BC Caste Communities JAC Chairman Kundaram Ganesh Chari and others participated in this padayatra.
