Suryaa Entertainment Desk: The upcoming mythological film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, features Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash in a villainous role. The project is based on the Valmiki Ramayana and other texts.
Actor Satyen Chaturvedi, who was cast as Sumantra, the advisor and charioteer to King Dasharatha, revealed that his scenes were removed during the final editing process. Chaturvedi noted that it is common for scenes and characters to be cut from large-scale films due to runtime limitations.
Despite his scenes being excluded from the final version, Chaturvedi expressed satisfaction in being part of the project. He shared his look for the character on social media and stated that the experience was memorable. He extended his gratitude to casting director Mukesh Chhabra and director Nitesh Tiwari for the opportunity. The film is scheduled to be released in two parts.
