Suryaa Telangana Desk: Kondapur: Shivannagudem Sarpanch and District Sarpanches JAC President Vinod Naik has welcomed the government's decision to deposit government funds directly into village panchayat accounts, alongside the panchayats' own revenue.
Vinod Naik expressed the view that this move will remove previous difficulties regarding the utilization of funds and facilitate development works in villages. He stated that providing financial autonomy to sarpanches is necessary for rural development and will reduce the need to visit other offices for funds.
He further noted that this decision will help expedite basic infrastructure projects, including sanitation, drinking water, street lighting, and road works. He expressed satisfaction that this initiative to strengthen panchayats will contribute to overall rural development.
