Suryaa Entertainment Desk: The mythological film Ramayana, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Yash as Ravana, and Sai Pallavi as Sita, is recording significant box office growth. Following positive audience reception and word-of-mouth, the film has seen increased theater attendance over the weekend.
As of Saturday, the pan-India film has surpassed Rs 167 crore in gross collections across domestic and overseas markets. High turnout from family audiences at multiplexes and single-screen theaters has contributed to this growth. Analysts have noted the performances of the lead cast as key factors, while director Nitesh Tiwari’s visual presentation, visual effects, and background score have received audience praise. Trade sources anticipate further growth in collections due to the upcoming Sunday and Monday holidays, with expectations that the film may set additional records within its first week.
