Suryaa News Desk: Ramachandrapuram DSP Seshu has called on the public to refrain from victory celebrations following the municipal elections. Speaking to the media on Monday evening, the DSP stated that processions, the use of DJs, and the bursting of firecrackers are strictly prohibited.

The DSP noted that Section 30 of the Police Act is currently in force. He warned that legal action will be taken against those who organize rallies, use DJs, or set off firecrackers to celebrate election results. He further stated that because ZPTC and MPTC election campaigning is in its final phase, no processions or rallies should be conducted.

Candidates, whether winning or losing, have been advised against engaging in provocative actions. The DSP emphasized that all candidates should be treated as fellow citizens and warned that any disruption to law and order will not be tolerated.

For the counting process, 200 police personnel have been deployed for security. Special police surveillance has been established at major intersections and sensitive areas. The DSP thanked the public for their cooperation in conducting the municipal elections in a peaceful environment. CI Venkata Narayana and SIs Nageswara Rao and Lakshman were present at the meeting.
