SuryaaNow Telangana Desk: Kondapur: Bharatiya Kisan Sangh district president has demanded that the promises made by the Congress government to the farmers should be fulfilled and the Warangal Rythu declaration should be implemented immediately. Kondapur: Bharatiya Kisan Sangh district general secretary Ramakrishna Reddy demanded that the promises made by the Congress government to the farmers should be fulfilled and the Warangal Rythu declaration should be implemented immediately. It is sad that farmers were promised to waive off their loan of Rs.2 lakh and still it has not been fully implemented. On Monday, in front of the Kondapur Tehsildar's office, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh organized a protest on the problems of low voltage electricity and farmers' problems. Later, he handed over the petition to Tehsildar Ashok.

On this occasion, Ramakrishna Reddy said that although the government says that they are providing 24-hour electricity to agriculture, eight hours of electricity per day is not properly provided at the field level. They demanded 24-hour quality electricity supply as per the promise given to the farmers. Affordable price should be provided for the crops. They promised to pay Rs. 500 more than the minimum support price (MSP) for all the crops and how reasonable it is to say that they will limit it to some types of grain at present.

The government announced to pay Rs.12,000 per year to the landless farmer laborers and requested to provide Rs.36,000 for three years immediately. Ramakrishna Reddy demanded to review the drought conditions caused by El Nino and assess the crop loss and provide adequate compensation to the farmers. He urged the government to solve the problems of the farmers immediately and implement the promises given in the Warangal Declaration. The President of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Mandal Srikanth Reddy, leaders Dayanand, Mogulaiah, Butchaiah, Laxman Goud, Pandurangareddy, Shankaraiah and others participated in this program.
