Suryaa News Desk: Tension prevails in Palamaner regarding the outcome of the municipal chairman election. A competitive contest between TDP and YSRCP candidates has created uncertainty among party leaders and councilor candidates.
Out of the 36 wards in the Palamaner municipality, six were won unanimously, while elections were held for the remaining 30 wards. The voter turnout was lower than expected, making it difficult for both parties to gauge the final outcome. Discussions regarding potential cross-voting in some wards have emerged within political circles.
YSRCP candidates remain confident in maintaining their dominance, while TDP candidates are expressing hope that welfare schemes and development programs will lead them to victory. TDP chairman candidate Rajyalakshmi Krishnamurthy Goud and YSRCP chairman candidate Srilakshmi and QDS Rajesh have both expressed confidence in their respective wins.
Heavy police security has been deployed at the strong room established at SVCR Degree College. Candidates from both parties are awaiting the results contained in the ballot boxes. Whether the TDP will rewrite history or the YSRCP will maintain its dominance remains a topic of discussion across the town. The results, expected on Tuesday evening, will determine the final outcome.
