Suryaa News Desk: District Election Officer and Collector Keerthi Chekuri has announced that workers and employees in areas where MPTC and ZPTC polling is scheduled for November 5 are entitled to paid leave.
According to the election schedule released by the State Election Commission, polling for MPTC and ZPTC seats will take place on November 5. Under the provisions of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, and the Andhra Pradesh Shops and Establishments Act, 1988, this paid leave applies to employees and workers in government and private organizations, companies, shops, and commercial establishments located within the polling areas.
The Collector stated that managements must implement this paid leave to ensure that all individuals can exercise their right to vote freely. Managements have been requested to take necessary measures to ensure employees and workers face no difficulties in casting their votes.
