Suryaa News Desk: NTR District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha has directed officials from all departments to remain fully alert in view of Cyclone Murasu. The Collector emphasized prioritizing the protection of lives and property while implementing precautionary measures.
Officials have been instructed to immediately prepare rehabilitation centers and maintain continuous monitoring of low-lying and flood-prone areas. Relevant departments are to remain prepared to clear fallen trees from roads and restore power supply disruptions promptly. Arrangements for emergency medical services must also be ensured.
Command control centers at the division and mandal levels are to be activated and linked to the district command control center, with field-level information reported to the district headquarters regularly. Village and ward secretariats are to remain accessible 24 hours a day to address public grievances immediately. The Collector stated that all department officials must work in coordination and remain vigilant until the impact of the cyclone subsides.
