Suryaa Telangana Desk: Munnouru Kapu Rajyadhikaram Party Nagarkurnool District General Secretary Etigadda Srinivasulu Patel stated that the government is responsible for providing all financial benefits to employees on their day of retirement. Speaking at a press conference held at the Cheyutha Welfare Society office in Nagarkurnool, he expressed concern over delays in benefit payments that extend for months or years after retirement.
Patel criticized the government for failing to fulfill election promises, including the release of pending Dearness Allowances (DAs), the abolition of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS), and the implementation of a new Pay Revision Commission (PRC). He noted that the PRC report has not been released despite the passage of time.
He alleged that the government has ignored the interests of employees, stating that the current administration has forgotten the principle that the government relies on its employees. Reminding that administrations that ignored employee issues in the past failed to return to power, he urged the state government to reconsider its stance. He demanded the immediate release of pending DAs, the announcement of salary increases based on the PRC report, and the direct deposit of retirement benefits into employees' accounts on their final day of service.
