Sansthan Narayanapuram Major News : CPI district executive members Bachchanagoni Galaiah and K. Srinivas have called to mobilize farmers and people for the achievement of Rachakonda Reservoir.
They attended the CPI mandal council meeting chaired by Chiliveru Anjaiah at the mandal center on Wednesday and said that farmers and people should attend and support the dharna organized in Sansthan Narayanapuram on 31st of this month for the achievement of Rachakonda Reservoir. It is stated that with the construction of the reservoir, the underground water level will increase and thousands of acres will be irrigated, which will contribute to the development of the region. They demanded that the government reconsider the issue of providing irrigation water to Sansthan Narayanapuram and Chautuppal mandals through lift from Sivannagudem project.
The leaders said that in the past two padayatras, constituency level meetings and reviews with senior engineers were conducted under the auspices of the CPI for the greening of Rachakonda region. He demanded that the government should immediately respond and take necessary steps for the construction of the reservoir. CPI mandal secretary Dubbaka Bhaskar, Kalakonda Sanjeeva, Palle Mallareddy, Survi Narasimha, Dubbaka Sanjeeva and others participated in the meeting.
