Sansthan Narayanapuram Major News: Officials of Devadaya and Revenue Departments conducted a joint inquiry on Wednesday regarding the dispute of Sarla Maisamma Temple Committee under Rachakonda Revenue in Mandal. It is learned that the police have recommended the government to bring the temple under the purview of the Devadaya Department as the dispute has become a law and order issue.
A team of assistant commissioner of Nalgonda tax department and Chautuppal RDO heard the arguments of both sides. Arrangement of hundis in the temple, collection of money from devotees, construction on government land and other aspects were examined. Officials said that the investigation report will be submitted to the District Collector and Commissioner of Revenue Department.
He said that the objections raised on the designation of the area where the temple is located as Allapura will be taken to the attention of the higher authorities. Heavy security was arranged under the leadership of Chautuppal DSP Madhusudan Reddy. Narayanapuram Mandal Debt Division EV Venkata Reddy, Deputy Tehsildar Mamata, RI Pandu, Chautuppal Rural, Town CIs Manmadha Kumar, Satish Reddy, Local SI Sita Pandu and others participated in their search.
