Suryaa News Desk: District Election Observer S. Nagalakshmi inspected the ongoing MPTC and ZPTC vote counting process for Mylavaram and Reddygudem mandals at the Lakkireddy Lakshmireddy Indoor Stadium in Mylavaram on Saturday.
During the visit, the observer examined the counting tables and reviewed the procedures for ballot classification and vote tabulation. She inquired about the duties of counting supervisors and support staff, emphasizing the need for complete transparency at every stage of the process. Officials were instructed to strictly adhere to the guidelines and regulations set by the Election Commission and to work with coordination to avoid errors.
Nagalakshmi also reviewed the security arrangements at the counting center, the facilities provided to officials and election agents, and the management of the counting rooms. She directed officials to take appropriate measures according to the rules to ensure no doubts or objections arise regarding the process. Describing the counting of votes as a critical phase in the democratic election process, she instructed officials to complete the task in a peaceful, impartial, and efficient manner.
