Gachibowli, Major News: Cyberabad Traffic Police has decided to extend the road closure from DLF Gate No. 1 to Gachibowli Traffic Police Station for another 90 days. Restrictions will come into effect from 27th of this month due to the construction work of flyover and underpass. Depending on the progress of the construction works and the available road space, vehicles will be allowed in some areas in a phased manner.Alternative routes....from Radisson Hotel to IIIT Junction: Vehicles going from Radisson Hotel towards DLF via DLF to IIIT Junction will be allowed only up to DLF Gate No.1.

Traffic police disclosed that it is likely to take at least another year to complete the construction of the flyover at IIIT junction. Due to this, there is a possibility of congestion in this area. IT employees advised motorists who travel this route regularly to choose alternative routes and plan the travel time in advance. Cyberabad Traffic Joint Commissioner asked the motorists to cooperate with the police in controlling the traffic.
