Mega power star Ram Charan in the lead role and directed by Shankar is a huge game changer. It is known that Kollywood's famous director Karthik Subbaraj has given the original story for this film which is based on politics and governance issues. However, Karthik Subbaraj recently responded to the news about the story changes of this film and revealed many interesting things in an interview. He explained the difference between the story he wrote and the way director Shankar showed it on the silver screen.

Karthik Subbaraj said that he has prepared a very natural and realistic line for the film Game Changer. A tough IAS officer says that some of the officers working with him have written a story that is very ordinary in terms of what changes have been brought about in the political arena. But after legendary director Shankar and megastar Ram Charan entered the project, the size and scale of the story changed completely, he claims. Karthik Subbaraj said that when a Pan India star with a huge canvas and a visionary director like Shankar came together for the film, the need to make the story more commercial and larger than life arose. It is explained that many changes have taken place in the screenplay and various commercial elements have been added to the film. He said that although the original story is his own, the world seen on the screen is shaped according to director Shankar's vision.

He opined that there are many reasons why films do not perform as expected and it is difficult to say exactly why any film failed to impress as expected. He made it clear that he is currently focusing on the next projects that he is working on. However, the comments made by Karthik Subbaraj, the original writer on the story of a game changer in a top combination, are currently being discussed heavily in the film circles.
