Suryaa Entertainment Desk: Director Jibin Antony has directed a new suspense mystery thriller titled Kandan. The film is set in the UK and centers on the disappearance of three young women. The plot follows a lawyer and a social media influencer who investigate the case to uncover its secrets.
Antony stated that the story was inspired by the methods used by social media vloggers to investigate missing persons cases abroad. He noted that the production was completed over the course of a year, with filming taking place on weekends alongside regular employment. The director expressed gratitude to the expatriate Malayali community for their support in selecting the cast and locations.
Despite the challenges of filming abroad, Antony credited the dedication of the team for the film's completion. He expressed confidence that the visual experience of the thriller, which features a new cast, will engage audiences.
