Suryaa Entertainment Desk: The audio launch event for the film 'Ohm', starring actor Dhanush, experienced significant disorder. A tense situation arose outside the auditorium after thousands of fans, despite holding valid entry passes, were denied access to the venue.
The event saw a large turnout of fans. Due to the crowd exceeding the organizers' estimates and the limited capacity of the venue, police and the event management team closed the gates citing security reasons. Fans who traveled from distant locations and possessed valid passes were unable to enter, leading to widespread disappointment.
Dhanush addressed the issue on social media, expressing regret over the incident. In a statement, he expressed his gratitude for the fans' affection and stated that he was deeply saddened that those with passes could not be admitted. He took full responsibility for the inconvenience.
Dhanush stated that he would speak with the organizers to ensure such incidents do not recur, emphasizing that the safety and comfort of his fans are his top priorities. While many have appreciated the actor's response, criticism has been directed toward the event management for the failure.
