However, a huge controversy erupted over the way freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was portrayed in this teaser.
Criticism is coming that it is wrong to distort history and belittle national leaders. In this context, Chandra Kumar Bose, the grandson of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, responded and expressed strong objection to the film crew. He stated that it is a crime to change historical facts in the name of fiction. He demanded to immediately remove the teaser from YouTube and release a new version only after correcting the mistakes.
He asked director Hanu Raghavapudi to respond to this controversy and take appropriate action. He also tagged central government leaders, demanding that they act responsibly while unveiling a historical figure on screen and apologize to the public if not. With this development, there is a fierce debate in the film industry.
