Municipal Commissioner Raghavender Reddy Municipal Commissioner Raghavender Reddy said that with DGPS survey and GIS mapping of municipal properties, prevention of irregularities is possible along with conservation of properties. He started the process of comprehensive asset identification survey, mapping, digitization and determination of asset values as part of the Municipal Assets Management Application project in Amanagallu Municipality on Friday.
The survey documentation process was undertaken by the consultancy team under the guidance of Town Planning Officer Vikas. The commissioner said that through the survey, details of the offices, buildings, open plots in the layouts, parks, sports fields, water supply, vacant lots, other infrastructure, assets of all departments in the municipality will be collected with modern technology. People and representatives of colony welfare societies were asked to provide full cooperation when the survey teams came for field observation.
