Suryaa News Desk: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) district president and former MLA Chirla Jaggireddy launched his election campaign from the Nukambika Temple in Chintaluru, Alamuru mandal. He stated that public issues are the core agenda of the YSRCP.
During the campaign, Jaggireddy appealed to voters to support ZPTC candidate Tammana Srinivas and the party’s MPTC candidates by voting for the fan symbol. Accompanied by party leaders and workers, he visited several villages to engage with the public.
Jaggireddy highlighted the difficulties faced by the public under the current coalition government, specifically citing the rising prices of essential commodities like cooking oil and pulses. He noted that these price hikes are placing a financial burden on common and middle-class families, daily wage workers, and small business owners.
He further demanded that the coalition government provide clarity on the implementation of its election promises, including the "Super Six" guarantees, promises made to women, employment opportunities for youth, and support for farmers. He also urged the government to address issues concerning irrigation, fertilizer shortages, agricultural investment costs, and minimum support prices for crops.
Jaggireddy emphasized the importance of local bodies in village development and encouraged voters to evaluate candidates based on their performance and commitment to community progress. He reiterated that the YSRCP remains dedicated to fighting for public issues. The campaign event saw the participation of ZPTC candidate Tammana Srinivas, various MPTC candidates, and party workers.
