Suryaa Entertainment Desk: Bollywood stars are implementing significant changes to their fan interaction protocols due to increasing security threats. Recent developments indicate a shift in how celebrities manage public appearances to ensure their safety.
Amitabh Bachchan, who has maintained a decades-long tradition of greeting fans outside his Jalsa residence every Sunday, recently appeared inside a transparent bulletproof glass cabin. This measure was taken following security threats and other developments. His son, Abhishek Bachchan, was present to personally oversee the security arrangements.
Similarly, Shah Rukh Khan greeted fans from his Mannat residence balcony on his birthday under heavy police protection. Security presence, including commandos and personnel, has increased at celebrity residences. Salman Khan has also installed bulletproof glass at his Galaxy apartment balcony, a trend being followed by other prominent actors.
While some experts express concern that these strict measures impact the natural connection between artists and fans, security specialists emphasize that such precautions are essential given the current environment. Analysts suggest that future public meetings involving celebrities are likely to be conducted with even greater control and regulation.
