Suryaa Health Desk: Dairy brand Amul has introduced a new product to the market called Amul High Protein Cubes. This ready-to-eat snack is designed to meet the growing demand for high-protein food items.
Each 38-gram single-serving pack contains 25 grams of protein and 150 kilocalories, meaning the product consists of approximately 65 percent protein. The price for a single pack is set at Rs 80. A box containing five single-serve packs is priced at Rs 400. Each pack includes a seasoning sachet.
The product is available in five flavors: Peri Peri, Korean Kimchi, Tandoori, Cheese & Herb, and Tomato. According to the company, the cubes can be prepared by adding the seasoning sachet to the pack and shaking it.
Beyond being consumed as a crunchy snack, the cubes can be used in other food preparations. Amul suggests using them like croutons in soups, adding them to gravies to increase protein content, or mixing them with onions, tomatoes, and chutney to make a crunchy bhel.
Amul has previously launched high-protein items such as paneer, yogurt, lassi, buttermilk, milkshakes, and whey protein. With the introduction of High Protein Cubes, the company has entered the ready-to-eat savory snacks segment. The product is currently available for purchase through the Amul Shop app and the official online store.
