Surya National Desk (New Delhi): The Akhil Bharat Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has won a landslide victory in Odisha's statewide university and college student union elections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national leaders congratulated the ABVP workers on this victory. The home minister took to the social media platform to praise the fact that ABVP won the most seats in the 13 major universities of Odisha after the election victories of Punjab University and Delhi University, which is a proof of the popularity of the nationalist ideology in the country.

Amit Shah commented that Yuva Shakti stood by the ideology of working for the good of the country, rejecting the forces that spread illusions, misconceptions and chaos in the country. About 56 percent polling has been recorded in this election. A total of 3,610 seats were democratically elected at the level of universities and colleges, where ABVP panel candidates emerged victorious in majority of the seats.
