Surya Peddapalli Rural: MPDO Koppula Srinivas revealed that Gram Sabhas will be held in 30 Gram Panchayats from 30th of this month to 5th of November as part of the 17th social audit process in Peddapalli mandal. These gram sabhas will be held to examine the details of the employment guarantee scheme works undertaken in the villages, their implementation and expenses and to create awareness among the people about the works.
On 30th of this month in Kothapalli, Hanmanthunipet, Kanagarti, Gaureddypet, Pedakalvala, Bompalli village panchayats, on 31st in Appannapet, Raghavpur, Turkala Maddikunta, Palitham villages, on 2nd November in Maredugonda, Brahmanapalli, Kasulapally, Muttaram and Nittur villages on 3rd November. Gram sabhas will be held in Peddabonkuru, Gurrampally, Mulasala, Andugulapalli villages, on November 4 in Godupalli and Gopayyapalli villages, and on November 5 in Chikurai, Rampalli, Bhojannapet, Raginedu, Nimmanapalli, Sabbitham, Rangapur, Kapulapally and Kurmapalli gram panchayats. MPDO stated that after the social audit gram sabhas, a public inquiry will be held on November 6 at 10 am.
It is suggested that the people of the concerned villages, laborers and public representatives attend the gram sabhas and participate in the social inspection process.
