Suryaa National Desk: The Union Ministry of Rural Development has officially notified new grievance redressal rules under the Vikshit Bharat - Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajivika Mission Gramin (VB-Gram Jee) Act. These regulations aim to enhance transparency in the implementation of rural employment and welfare schemes.
Under the new rules, all complaints regarding rural welfare schemes and employment guarantees must be resolved within a maximum period of 15 days from the date of receipt. The initiative is designed to address issues such as delays in wage payments, difficulties in job provision, and service deficiencies.
To facilitate this, grievance redressal officers will be appointed at the village, mandal, and district levels to conduct inquiries and take necessary actions. The system is intended to provide a digital and efficient platform for rural workers to report issues. Arrangements are being made to monitor the process from registration to resolution to ensure transparency.
